#1

In physics, method marks and the cause-and-effect chain decide the grade. Our tutors teach the exact exam discipline -- write the formula, substitute with units, show every step -- and the step-by-step causal reasoning that "explain" questions reward (jumping to the conclusion earns one mark; the chain earns them all).

Because Singapore is ranked #1 in the world for Science (OECD PISA 2022) and our tutors were trained in that system and graduated from top Singapore and British universities, your child learns the exact calculation and reasoning discipline the mark scheme rewards.

In a group of up to 10, we drill 0625 past papers, fix each student's weak topics, and report progress in writing.

How We Teach IGCSE Physics (0625).

Our teaching is built on the methods that make Singapore the #1 country in the world for Science (OECD PISA 2022), sharpened for the IGCSE Physics (0625) exam. Every student starts with a diagnostic, so we teach to their actual gaps rather than a generic scheme. Physics is where reasoning meets calculation, so we build both: clear conceptual understanding, and the calculation discipline of writing the formula, substituting with correct units and showing every step.

We then convert that into marks by drilling the IGCSE Physics (0625) mark scheme, including the step-by-step "explain" chains where jumping to the conclusion earns one mark but the full chain earns them all. Lessons run on past papers and timed practice, with the math within physics supported directly and the Alternative to Practical fully prepared. Because classes are capped at up to 10, the tutor follows each student's working in real time and corrects it on the spot, and you receive a written progress report after every block.

Questions about this programme.

How can my child excel in IGCSE Physics (0625)?
By mastering calculation technique and clear reasoning. The students who excel always write the formula, substitute with correct units, show every step, and build the full "explain" chain that earns the marks. We drill this against past papers in small groups.
Is it hard to get an A or A* in IGCSE Physics?
A top grade is very achievable, because physics rewards reliable method and reasoning. The usual barriers are the math within physics and incomplete "explain" answers -- both of which we target directly.
Why does my child lose marks even when they "know it"?
Almost always because of missing working, wrong or absent units, or an incomplete "explain" chain -- jumping to the conclusion earns one mark, but the full chain earns them all. We train exactly this against the IGCSE Physics (0625) mark scheme.
How quickly will we see improvement?
Most parents notice more confidence within the first few weeks, with measurable progress over a term as technique and weak topics are fixed. With classes capped at up to 10 and a written report each block, you'll always see what's improving.
Is IGCSE Physics good preparation for engineering or A-Level Physics?
Yes -- the mechanics, electricity and exam technique transfer directly into A-Level Physics, and it's a key foundation for engineering, physics and computer science.
